Cooking for the Joy of Cooking and for my own gastronomic pleasure. Cooking because I love the smell of garlic on my fingers. Cooking because it's what feeds us.
This list is inspired by my belief that there will always be more to learn than can possibly be learned in a lifetime. Thus, we have no excuse to be bored. I'm certain I will add more to this this than I will subtract, but my hope is that writing it down will make it more real to me, more feasible, and also more enticing.

About Me
I'm a southern girl who likes to bite off more than I can chew. I bake. A lot. I'm a nurturer at heart who likes a table full of people to eat my food. I like to have fun with my food--to be surprised by colors and textures and flavors. I like all flavors (who's to say how many there actually are?), and I like it when they play nicely together. My only manifesto is that both the act of preparing food and eating it should be joyous.
